Lopez ordered to defend WBA title against Catterall

Teofimo Lopez has been ordered to defend his WBA 'super' welterweight title against Jack Catterall. The WBA confirmed Catterall as mandatory challenger — the man the champion must face next — on 22 September. Lopez won the belt against Rolando Romero. Catterall holds the secondary 'regular' title after beating Shakhram Giyasov in May.
