WoW: Forever to launch without Shaman, Warlock tanks

World of Warcraft: Forever will launch without Shaman tanks and Warlock tanks. Senior game designer Josh Greenfield told GameSpot the roles are "not quite yet, but never say never". In the beta, Shaman tanking lacks a true taunt and better damage mitigation. The full release is scheduled for 4 November 2026 at 3:00 p.m. PST.
