Lionel Richie cancels three shows after procedure for irregular heartbeat

Lionel Richie has undergone a procedure to correct atrial fibrillation, his representative told Billboard. He cancelled shows in San Francisco on Sept. 26, Chicago on Sept. 30 and Columbus, Ohio, on Oct. 2 while he recuperates, Billboard reported. His representative said Richie is doing great and will take time off before returning to the stage.
