Spencer memoir claims Charles said Diana would be forgotten, palace responds

Charles Spencer claims in Swan Song: Diana, My Sister that then-Prince Charles said "we'll forget her soon enough" during an argument concerning William. The memoir about his sister Princess Diana was released Sept. 22. Buckingham Palace, the king's official residence and office, released a statement in response to the claims.
