Coroner rules Hayden Panettiere, 36, died of accidental fentanyl overdose

The Greenville County Coroner's Office said on Sept. 22 actor Hayden Panettiere, 36, died from an accidental overdose involving fentanyl. The coroner found fentanyl and its byproduct, alprazolam, a muscle relaxer and a depression drug in her system, and no trauma. She was found unresponsive in Greenville, S.C., on Aug. 16.
