Dutch minister agrees to return Van Goyen to Goudstikker heir

Dutch minister Rianne Letschert has agreed to return Jan van Goyen's 1651 Fishermen by the Lakeshore from the Mauritshuis in The Hague to Marei von Saher, The Art Newspaper reported. Research matched it to Jewish dealer Jacques Goudstikker. The Dutch Restitutions Committee found its wartime loss involuntary and advised its return. Saher is widow of Goudstikker's only son Eduard.
