Wales will not back Infantino to stay on as FIFA president

Wales will not endorse Gianni Infantino to continue as FIFA president. FAW chief executive Noel Mooney confirmed the stance on BBC Radio Wales Phone In. The FAW is among the first national associations to withdraw backing. Infantino will stand for a fourth term in March 2027. Opponents have until 18 November to find an alternative candidate.
