Lucas Museum in Los Angeles opens with more than 40,000 works

The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles will open to the public on 22 September 2026, the museum said. Its permanent collection, the works it owns rather than borrows, holds more than 40,000 works, according to the museum's opening announcement.
