Lancashire face worst finish in 136-year history

Lancashire sit seventh in Division Two, the second tier, with one County Championship match left, nine points above bottom-placed Gloucestershire. They have never finished 17th or 18th overall in 136 years. They finish away to runaway champions Durham in the final round starting Thursday.
