Morphotonics Tool to Produce 6 Million AR Waveguides a Year

Morphotonics will begin shipping early next year a nanoimprint lithography tool — a high-volume stamping process for optics — rated at more than 6 million AR waveguides per year. Waveguides are the transparent display layers that guide images to the eye. The company plans 10 to 15 systems initially, rising to 50 deployments in two to three years.
