Cubs' Bregman suffers multiple facial fractures from teammate's foul ball

Chicago Cubs third baseman Alex Bregman suffered multiple facial fractures Sunday, Sept. 20, in Cincinnati, sources told ESPN's Jeff Passan. The Guardian reported teammate Michael Busch fouled a pitch from Reds pitcher Luis Mey into Bregman's face in the on-deck circle and that Bregman left for hospital X-rays and CT scans. ESPN reported Chicago beat Cincinnati 9-1.
