Paramount must keep Pluto TV free for five years under merger settlement

Paramount must keep Pluto TV, or another free ad-supported streaming service, meaning viewers pay nothing and watch adverts, free at current quality for five years if its proposed $110 billion Warner Bros. Discovery takeover proceeds, according to Deadline. The condition forms part of its settlement with state attorneys general, the California, Massachusetts and Washington offices said.
