An official Pokémon account shared a 30-second Ruby and Sapphire clip showing Wingull, the player trainer and Mr Briney. The footage looked high-resolution and crisp, not original Game Boy Advance hardware. Switch and Switch 2 save the last 30 seconds automatically. Fans read it as a hint at Nintendo Switch ports, versions adapted for newer consoles.
