UK bars export of £4.6 million Antico bronze last sold for £1.4 million

Britain has temporarily barred export of Antico's Seated Nymph, valued at £4.6 million ($6.2 million). The bronze last sold at Sotheby's in London in 2009 for £1.4 million ($2.3 million), Artnet News reported. UK public collections have until 17 December 2026 to express interest; a matched offer allows five months to raise funds.
