Paramount pledges $1.5 billion to lift US-made films to 20%

Paramount has committed $1.5 billion over five years to lift the share of its films made in the US from 5% to 20%, California Attorney General Rob Bonta said on 21 September. The pledge is part of a five-year consent decree, meaning court-enforced promises, settling suits blocking the $111 billion Warner Bros Discovery acquisition, Deadline reported.
