Stanford protest charges dropped in service deal

Five Stanford students will face no prosecution for the June 2024 hour-long occupation of the president’s office, a protest urging Stanford to cut financial ties with Israel. Felony conspiracy, trespass and vandalism charges were dropped Sept. 21, 2026, in exchange for 100 hours of community service and about $50,000 repayment for damage.
