15,000 bootleg LPs seized in UK's largest counterfeit vinyl bust

Police seized 15,000 counterfeit LPs covering 108 artists in the largest such haul in UK history, Pitchfork reported. The 2024 raid on Rehan Ahmed's Phoenix of Vinyl warehouse found records attributed to Taylor Swift, Drake, Rihanna, Bad Bunny, the Beatles and Ed Sheeran. Ahmed, 40, was jailed for three years and six months after pleading guilty.
