Petivity, owned by Purina, has launched its $150 Smart Feeder for Cats. The camera-based system uses facial recognition — software that matches feline faces — to identify up to five cats without collars or microchips. Its app logs portion size and feeding frequency, and supports remote dispensing, scheduled feeds, and video check-ins.
