Googlebooks from five makers open for preorder, starting at $899

Acer, Asus, Dell, HP and Lenovo opened preorders September 21 for the first Googlebooks, which Google describes as laptops built around Gemini Intelligence, its AI software. Starting prices run $899 to $1,299. The devices reach stores October 4.
