Brighton beat Arsenal 3-0 to end perfect start

Champions Arsenal lost 3-0 at Brighton on 19 September. Gross, Kostoulas and Andrés scored. The defeat ended Arsenal's 100% winning start in the league and in all competitions. Manager Mikel Arteta said his side were taught a lesson and Brighton deserved to win. Brighton pressed from the first whistle and Arsenal could not cope.
