Xhaka under criminal investigation over alleged forged Covid certificate

Switzerland captain Granit Xhaka is under criminal investigation over an allegation he obtained a forged Covid-19 vaccination certificate in 2022. Lucerne prosecutors confirmed they are examining whether criminal behaviour took place. The 33-year-old Sunderland midfielder was at Arsenal at the time. He holds Switzerland's record with 152 caps.
