iPhone 18 Pro camera iris is nearly unrepairable, iFixit finds

A failed iris in the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max will likely mean replacing the whole camera, iFixit's teardown found. The 48MP Fusion camera uses a magnetic six-blade iris — the light-controlling aperture — with leaves as thin as a human hair, almost impossible to fix without specialist tools, though the module is easy to reach.
