Officer and Man Injured in Shooting Outside Belleville Synagogue

Two people were injured in a shooting outside a synagogue in Belleville on Sept. 20, 2026. A police officer was wounded during an exchange of gunfire — meaning shots were fired by both sides. The other man was critically injured, or in life-threatening condition. Both were taken to hospital.
