United Russia Takes 57.83% in State Duma Election, Officials Say

Russia's Central Election Commission said United Russia won 57.83% of the vote for the State Duma, Russia's lower house of parliament, on Sept. 21, 2026, up from 49.8% in 2021. In my view, the result keeps Kremlin control of lawmaking during the war, though how that share translates into seats is still unclear.
