Grand Final return flights to Melbourne hit $6,000

Return flights to Melbourne have hit $6,000 ahead of Saturday's Fremantle v Brisbane Lions Grand Final at the MCG on 26 September. Qantas added 13 Perth-Melbourne flights and seven Brisbane-Melbourne flights with Jetstar. Virgin added 4,000 Perth seats and 1,000 Brisbane seats. Cheapest Perth-Melbourne one-way fares start at $1,211 on Qantas and $707 on Virgin.
