Cubs' Alex Bregman hospitalized after foul ball hits face in on-deck circle

Chicago third baseman Alex Bregman was struck in the left cheekbone under the eye by teammate Michael Busch's foul ball in the on-deck circle in the fourth inning Sunday at Cincinnati. Manager Craig Counsell said Bregman bled from his nose with swelling. He went to hospital for X-rays and CT scans. Cubs won 9-1.
