Reusser retains world time-trial title on 35th birthday

Marlen Reusser retained the women's world time-trial title in Montreal on 20 September 2026. The Swiss rider, 35 on race day, covered 39.2km — a time-trial is a solo race against the clock — 40 seconds faster than Britain's Zoe Backstedt. It was her second straight title after Kigali in 2025.
