Two German nationals arrested for hanging own paintings in Louvre's Mona Lisa hall

French police arrested two German nationals at the Louvre Museum in Paris on Sept. 19 after they fixed two of their own paintings to a wall in the hall holding the Mona Lisa, France 24 reported. An ARTnews report on Sept. 20 confirmed visitors were arrested for placing artwork near the work.
