Manchester City beat Sunderland 5-3 at the Etihad Stadium on 20 September to move three points clear at the top of the Premier League. Arsenal lost 3-0 to Brighton on 19 September. Antoine Semenyo scored twice and added an assist, with Enzo Fernandez and Erling Haaland also scoring for Enzo Maresca's side.
