Movistar Plus to premiere weekly Spanish film and double original series to 16

Movistar Plus said it will premiere a new Spanish film every week and double its annual Spanish originals, meaning shows made exclusively for the platform, from eight to 16. It laid out the plan at the San Sebastián Film Festival, according to Variety. It committed to the series increase in July.
