Kazakh drama 'Mugalim' held its world premiere on Sept. 20 in New Directors at San Sebastián, Variety reported. Co-written and directed by Ayana Nurdinova and produced by Art East Films, Variety reported, it follows a Balkhash music teacher dreaming of joining the philharmonic.
