Zach Cregger's Resident Evil reboot earned $60 million domestically, the United States and Canada, in studio estimates for the weekend to 20 September 2026, Sony reported. It is the largest debut in the 24-year-old franchise, topping Afterlife's $26 million, Sony reported. Sony spent $75 million to produce the film, Variety reported.
