Insomniac denies generative AI in Marvel's Wolverine after viral bathroom sign

Insomniac Games denies Marvel's Wolverine uses generative AI artwork. Community director James Stevenson said there are no AI-generated assets in the game, in a statement published 20 September 2026. The denial followed viral screenshots of a warped restroom sign. Stevenson blamed a UV map bug, the template placing flat art on 3D models, and said a fix is coming.
