Earl Spencer says Harry and Meghan press coverage echoes Diana treatment

Charles Spencer, 9th Earl Spencer, told the BBC's Laura Kuenssberg at Althorp that press coverage of Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, had 'echoes' of Princess Diana's treatment. He called Diana 'really brought low' by criticism and described coverage as a 'cancerous influence in their life'. He said people should learn from Diana's example.
