OpenAI Models Now Available on AWS, Ending Microsoft's Exclusive Control

OpenAI's flagship models are now generally available on Amazon Bedrock, AWS's managed AI platform, as of June 2026. This breaks eight months of escalation: a $38 billion cloud deal in November 2025, February alignment, and April's renegotiation of Microsoft's exclusivity clause.
