Winkler says Scream kept him off poster over Fonzie image

Henry Winkler says executives kept him off the 1996 Scream poster and billing because his Fonzie identity would 'knock the balance of horror off', he told In Depth With Graham Besinger, as reported by Variety on 19 September 2026. Variety reported he played Principal Arthur Himbry and did press for director Wes Craven despite feeling insulted.
