Pellitory wins 2026 Ayr Gold Cup for O'Meara and Tudhope

Pellitory won the 2026 Ayr Gold Cup at Ayr on 19 September. Danny Tudhope held on in the 15:40 feature for trainer David O'Meara, the BBC reported. The first prize was £92,772, Racing TV listed. The four-year-old carried 9-0 off a rating of 98 in a 25-runner handicap, where better horses carry more weight.
