Zach Cregger said a Resident Evil stunt would have killed lead Austin Abrams if it had gone wrong, according to Deadline. Abrams called the snow-covered road sequence "harrowing", telling Deadline performers playing zombies jumped off roofs around him. He did not want to ruin the shot or cause an accident, he told Deadline.
