Ratcliffe Says UK Is 'On the Slide,' Rules Out Return

Sir Jim Ratcliffe, Manchester United co-owner based in Monaco since 2020, told BBC's Big Boss Interview podcast Britain is "on the slide" and he has "no confidence" in the UK, blaming high taxes and immigration. Asked about returning, he said "Not at the moment, no." The government says business investment, or company spending, rose over two years.
