Riyadh All-Clear After Overnight Air-Raid Alerts

Saudi authorities said Riyadh is safe now after air-raid alerts — warnings of incoming attack — late Friday into Saturday morning local time. Civil Defence, the emergency agency, alerted Riyadh and several other regions. Reuters and AFP journalists heard explosions in the capital. Residents were told to avoid crowds. It was the first alert since Houthi attacks rose in July.
