Vantora raises $100M to build physical AI startups

Vantora has raised $100 million from Silversmith Capital Partners, its first outside funding, reported Sept. 18. Formerly UP.Labs, the company was founded in 2022 by CEO John Kuolt. It creates physical AI startups — software that controls machines and vehicles — with corporate partners including Porsche, Alaska Airlines and J.B. Hunt.
