Deadline reported Netflix cancelled Sweet Magnolias after five seasons and 50 episodes. The report said the drama starred JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Brooke Elliott and Heather Headley. Season 5 debuted 11 June and drew 2.8 million views in its opening week, ranking No. 4 on Netflix's Weekly Top 10 for English series, then exited after three weeks.
