Disney opens first Created in L.A. creator event at El Capitan

Disney opened its first creator gathering, Created in L.A., at Hollywood's El Capitan Theatre, Variety reported. The two-day event brought together more than 350 creators, innovators and industry leaders, Variety reported. Conceived and hosted by creator Jon Youshaei, formerly of YouTube and Instagram, it opened with Dana Walden pitching future storytelling collaborations, Variety reported.
