Duncan Sheik, Spring Awakening composer, dies at 56 in New York

Duncan Sheik, composer of Broadway musical Spring Awakening, died in New York at age 56. His sister Suzanne Sheik told the New York Times he died from cardiac arrest, according to Reuters. Sheik won two Tony Awards in 2007 for the show and was a Grammy-winning singer-songwriter.
