Former Billboard country editor Edward Morris dies at 90

Edward Morris died on Sept. 17 at age 90, Billboard reported on Sept. 18. The Nashville journalist served as Billboard's country music editor and chief Nashville columnist during a 14-year tenure ending in 1995. He wrote for CMT's online platform for 20 years from 1999 and authored eight books.
