Dean Richards, 63, is back in English rugby as Doncaster Knights' director of rugby, The Guardian reported on 18 September 2026. The former England international and Lion has previously guided Harlequins and Newcastle Falcons to second-tier titles. Doncaster, eighth in the Champ last season, open the 2026-27 campaign away to Cornish Pirates.
