Leicestershire docked 27 points for pitch breach, drop to bottom

Leicestershire received a 27-point deduction for breach of pitch regulations in their August victory over Glamorgan. The sanction was applied after close of play at Grace Road, sending the Foxes to the bottom of County Championship Division One. Head coach Alfonso Thomas told BBC Radio Leicester it is fuelling their survival fight.
