U.S. Futures Inch Up as Oil Eases, Yields Climb

U.S. stock futures ticked up Sept. 18, pointing to a quiet open, WSJ and Herald report. Lower oil prices should ease inflation, the rise in living costs. But higher Treasury yields, interest on government bonds that guides mortgage rates, keep borrowing costly. In my view, that tug-of-war still squeezes household budgets.
