Anthropic settlement disputes get 60 days for evidence, double prior window

Rightsholders disputing allocation — how a payout is split between rival claimants to the same work — in Anthropic's US$1.5 billion US copyright settlement have 60 days from notice to submit supporting evidence. Notices went 2-4 September. The extension from 30 days was agreed 17 September 2026, the Authors Guild reported, after widespread errors in claims.
