Uffizi says Caravaggio's Bacchus untouched after rain reached case

Water from the 17 September 2026 leak at the Uffizi Gallery in Florence reached only the outer pane of the protective display case, the sealed glass housing, around Caravaggio's Bacchus, the Uffizi Galleries said. It said no works were damaged and the museum is open.
